A Certified Rolfer® attended The Rolf Institute (now known as the Dr. Ida Rolf Institute), and a Rolf Practitioner attended The Guild for SI. These are legally protected terms so as to preserve the quality of classical structural integration. As a potential client for Rolfing® Structural Integration, you have access to valuable resources on the internet to verify the credentials of your practitioner of choice. I encourage you to choose a person who has attended the following intensive programs for Rolfing® SI and the Rolf Method of Structural Integration:
- The Rolf Institute of Structural Integration: https://memberleap.com/members/directory/search_rolf_VAR.php
- The Guild for Structural Integration: https://www.rolfguild.org/find-a-practitioner
Verify a “Structural Integrator”
The International Association of Structural Integrators (IASI) is an organization with the goal of recognizing standardized educational programs for SI. These trainings must match, or exceed, the curriculum established by The Rolf Institute of Structural Integration. If your practitioner offers “Structural Integration” please view the link to verify recognized national and international trainings.
